The Master ID is used to generate the Master License Key that encodes
Key Properties. When you deploy the Activation Server or use the LicenseGen SDK, both Master ID and Master License Key are
needed to be used as the master license to generate the License Key.
To generate a Master ID, you must specify the Program ID and set the
following flags to match the settings in the protected application. Then, click
the Generate button.
·
Network Key. Set this flag if the protected application detects the Network Key.
See the Select Key Detection
Method dialog of ElecKey Integrator.
·
Mobile Key. Set this flag if the protected application detects the Mobile Key. See
the Select Application
License Type dialog of ElecKey Integrator
·
Permanent Registration ID. Set this flag if the protected application is enabled
with the permanent Registration ID. See the Generating a permanent
Registration ID for the computer option in the Key
Options dialog of ElecKey Integrator.
·
Shareware Registration ID. Set this flag if the protected application is
licensed as shareware. See the Choose
Implementation dialog of ElecKey Integrator.
NOTE: If you encounter the error message “ActSvr: Invalid Registration ID!” from the Activation
Server or “False” in the Status property of the LicenseGen
SDK, please check and ensure that you specify the settings for the Master ID
to match the protected application. These errors usually indicate that there
is a mismatch problem, which may be caused by the Program ID or flags. For
example, you may enable the Permanent Registration ID flag, but you protected
your application without enabling the Permanent Registration ID option. |
